Drum Chipper ZTH
For the production of wood chips from trunks and rind bunches
Drum chippers of the series ZTH are used to produce wood chips from trunks or rind bunches. The solid knife fixation with centrifugal wedges together with the extremely robust rotor are insensitive to knife damages – with the plus of low tool changing times. The blades are easily accessible and can be re-sharpened.
The material is fed horizontally by feed rollers which are partially attached to a rocker and adapt to the height of the input material. The transport to the machine is usually done by a vibrating conveyor or a belt conveyor.
The ZTH series drum chippers are manufactured with infeed heights from 85 mm up to 1,200 mm in different versions with a machine weight up to 60 tons and a wide range of drives.
ZENO drum chippers are available with special features and accessories, such as adjustable stator knife, hydraulic hood and hydraulic changing device for the stator knife in large models.
